About 107ready

What This Site Is

107ready is a free practice exam for the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot knowledge test. The question bank covers all eight ACS knowledge areas — airspace, weather, regulations, loading and performance, and more — so you can drill the same types of questions the real exam pulls from. If you want more structured prep, the course comparison page puts ten paid providers side by side.

Where the Questions Come From

The bank is built from public FAA sources: the Part 107 Airman Certification Standards, the Remote Pilot study guide (FAA-G-8082-22), and 14 CFR Part 107. Questions are AI-assisted and then deduplicated and validated against CFR citations. Every question includes a specific regulation or publication reference in its explanation — not just a general topic tag.

Currency of Regulations

The question bank reflects rules current through 2026, including Remote ID (mandatory since March 16, 2024), night operations without a waiver (since April 21, 2021, with anti-collision lighting visible to 3 SM), and Operations Over People categories 1–4. BVLOS still requires an FAA waiver. When the FAA publishes a rule change, the bank is re-audited and outdated questions are replaced.

How Course Data Stays Fresh

The course comparison page pulls pricing and feature information directly from each provider's official website. Subjective claims such as pass rates, student counts, and instructor names are reviewed periodically against what each provider publishes. Pricing is never estimated; every figure traces back to the provider's own checkout or landing page.

How We Fund the Site

107ready is free to use. Some outbound links to course providers may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. No commission arrangement ever influences which courses are listed or how they are ranked — the comparison page uses the same data fields for every provider and defaults to an alphabetical sort.

What This Site Isn't

107ready is an independent study resource. It is not affiliated with the FAA, does not issue certificates, and is not an accredited training provider. The actual Part 107 Remote Pilot knowledge test is administered by PSI at FAA-approved testing centers — you can schedule it at faa.psiexams.com . Always verify current regulations at faa.gov .
